CREATING DISPLAY SPACES FOR AUDI IN PREMIUM RETAIL PRECINCTS

THE CHALLENGE

To coincide with the launch of the all new Audi Q8 in Australia, Audi approached DisplayWise with an opportunity to present a roadshow display space for use in high-end retail precincts. To complement the Q8’s sophisticated design and luxurious appointments, the display area had to be refined and match the car’s elegant aesthetics, providing a workable platform for Audi representatives to capture leads and interact with shoppers.

THE SOLUTION

A 24sqm display space was created using high-gloss black flooring to show off the vehicle. Lighting created a soft and subtle ambience which highlighted the stand in the busy retail space. The integration of an LED screen enabled Audi to play footage, and a touch screen facilitated data capture. As briefed by the client, the display was to be used as part of a national roadshow campaign, hence all elements had to withstand multiple installations and dismantles. As a full service partner, DisplayWise also managed all logistics, freight and maintenance requirements of the stand.

THE RESULTS

The activation provided an ideal platform to support the launch of the Audi Q8 in Australia and present the vehicle to a targeted group of potential clients located in selected geographic areas. As an extension of the brand’s traditional above-the-line advertising for the Q8, these shopping centre displays provided a unique opportunity to have passers-by see and experience the vehicle. Following the success of this campaign, the luxury automotive brand is now investing in several more display stands for use nationwide.
